It is worth noting that if you listen on a phone or iPod then you may not be able to hear the character's diegetic voices. This is not something I have planned but for some reason it has happened. Therefore, it is required to watch this video on a computer, laptop or mac to hear all of the sound that should be there.
Katy's Media Blog A2

Poster - FINAL
For my final poster all I did was change the colour of the text 'Some people are worth changing for.' to a brown colour which looks similar to the brown colour of the ground which both characters are standing on. I also feel that this makes the tagline stand out much more ad I think it improves my poster for the better.

Magazine Cover - FINAL
For my final magazine cover I changed the font of the words 'Perfect Timing' to the same font that I use in my poster. This helps to create a branding for my film through this font as the font will soon become associated with my film through target audience members.
I feel as though this makes the title of the film stand out a lot more and I like how the title goes slightly over the puff as it makes the magazine feel as though it has more depth.

Evaluation Q1 - In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?
In the picture above, that I edited and created, 9 frames from my trailer can be seen that I believe are the key parts of my trailer that either drive the narrative forward or tell the audience something about either Emily or Will.
1 - Having an ident at the start of a trailer is incredibly conventional and it tells the audience the production company and gives them some credit before the trailer even starts.
2 - Emily (the protagonist) is immediately introduced visually (a birds eye view medium close up) and through audio (her voice is heard as a voice-over; 'So this is my life'). This highlights how important she'll be in the trailer and this soon becomes obvious to the audience as further shots of Emily are seen and the voice-over continues.
3 - I have used another convention of real media products as for my 3rd key frame I have chosen an inter-title. I put various inter-titles throughout my trailer which gives the audience additional information about the film and could entice them to want to see the film more if a marquee name is seen of an actor they like.
4 - Conventions used again through over-the-shoulder shots of the two protagonists meeting for the first time.
5 - Conventions of romance trailers used as the couple are shown happy at first.
6 - Conventions of romance trailers used again as the couple are not happy anymore (Todorov - disequilibrium).
7 - A key moment in the narrative - Emily's attempted suicide - uses conventions of drama trailers and is the moment of heightened emotion/tension.
8 - Emily's heightened emotions continue through montage editing of various shots of her looking sad (this in some ways slightly challenges the conventions of real media products as they would usually continue the narrative slightly and then do a short montage but in my trailer I decided to use montage editing straight after Will says asks how he can try to help.
9 - For a contrast in the montage some shots of Emily and Will happy together are used to show the contrast of emotion in the trailer - this uses the forms of real media products as in a montage various moments in the film are shown.

Evaluation Q2 - How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts?
Here is an additional link to the Prezi if the embedded link won't work (as sometimes Prezi doesn't allow it to work): https://prezi.com/hprtfy_ijxae/how-effective-is-the-combination-of-your-main-product-and-an/
I'd quickly like to point at that I believe synergy has been achieved through my 3 products. I have used the same typography as you can see below. This creates a branding for my film and would enable me to easily create merchandise to further my profits (by using the font) if I was actually releasing this as a film.

Evaluation Q3 - What have you learned from your audience feedback?
I recently created a survey on SurveyMonkey. These questions were on my promotional package and can be found here: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/9XJXFQS
Below is a video of me explaining my methods of audience feedback, the strengths, weaknesses, what I have learnt and much more..

During the video it may be useful to refer to the Prezi below that I created as it shows all of the questionnaires and results from my feedback (except for the video of trailer feedback which can be found in this earlier post: http://katyfilmmakera2.blogspot.co.uk/2015/03/2nd-rough-cut-audience-feedback.html )

Evaluation Q4 - How did you use media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages?
It is worth noting that for my evaluation I also used YouTube Annotation Function. This worked how I wanted it to however it was a bit tricky to input the information as it would often delete words I had just entered. Despite that, I could still use it successfully.
In the 4 mind maps above you can see how I used various media technologies in the research, planning, construction and evaluation stages of my 2nd year of media. I have also outlined the strength and weaknesses of each technology. I tended to use all media technologies that were popular and well known (e.g. YouTube) therefore in most cases any weaknesses I found weren't that important as I could still use the media technology in either one of the stages above.
Below are screen grabs of when I was using Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop. I feel as though through using the software mentioned (and other software) I have personally developed my skills on them as I used them in such a way to get the best 3 products, thus creating an overall promotion package.
Below is a Prezi further answering this evaluation question.
