Costume:

The costumes for both Will and Emily will change throughout the day to give a better impression that the trailer shows different parts of the film (as if they were being filmed on different days). Below are brief descriptions of each characters costumes:

Will:

Black trousers, a belt, brown shoes and various shirts throughout the day (including a hoody and a white shirt for the outside 'landscape' shots).

The mise en scene of Will is very similar to that of Bertie's. The only difference is that Will's preferred reading is to be Emily's boyfriend while Bertie was just a friend. This makes little difference however to their costume as they both simply dress in a way that most older teenage boys do (casually).

Below are 3 of the main costumes that I chose Will to wear for the trailer.

In the living room scene he is seen wearing a blue chec shirt. The colour blue stereotypically is a boys colour and boys are often (and archetypally) seen wearing shirts. Therefore, I feel it represents Wills character well as he is a typical teenager/young male. 

The added jacket brings a more casual look to Will's costume (as it is worn over a white shirt). This is to give a preferred reading that Emily and Will spend a lot of time together and therefore sometimes Will is wearing more casual clothes.

When Will first meets Emily he is seen wearing a smart, light blue colour. This light blue colour is a soft colour which gives the impression that Will will be a good influence on Emily. 

Emily:

Black trousers (black ripped trousers for the outside 'landscape' shots), brown boots, and various tops throughout the day (including a green top and a coat for the outside 'landscape' shots).

However, for the photography I will use my own Canon camera (as Toby will not be here on this day of filming so I cannot use his camera).
