The poster I have analysed at first glance could definitely be considered a character poster and not a theatrical one. However, after some research into the different posters I discovered that this was definitely the main one even though it only shows one character. This could suggest the significance of that character in the film.


This character alone presents an enigma to the audience as she is mysterious and difficult to understand in terms of her role and personality in the film. The genre horror is hinted at with the unusual colour of her eyes. The overall image of this character is incredibly strong (yet so simple) therefore making the poster incredibly effective.
