Emily's costume for day 2 was a black jumper (with white writing on) and black trousers. This costume is in keeping with Emily's style as it is something a regular teenage girl would wear. It has a slight 'tom-boy' effect as the jumper is not fitted (it's baggy) however this is definitely something Emily would wear as in the trailer she is in a bad state of mind and is not too worried about how she looks.
The colour black (in both the jumper and jeans) represent how dark and sad Emily is feeling throughout the trailer. This is very effective and helps Emily to have the correct preferred reading and mise en scene.
